I have an advanced debt payment on my LES of 940 dollars but there is no debt to counter balance it. WHY?

Finance basically paid me 940 dollars as an advanced debt and didn't counter balance it with the same amount as a debt like they normally due to forewarn Soldiers of a future deduction. But at the bottom of my LES is says i have an indebtness of 940 dollars. so if i owe, why are they paying me that amount? again, there wasn't a debt deduction that matched it. i'm getting paid, not deducted.
